"Best of Optimus Prime" IDWby ~Livio27

Digital Art / Paintings & Airbrushing / Illustrations / Storybook

This one means a lot to me, as it is going to be my first published Transformers piece. I was lucky enough to be contacted by the fine folks at IDW and they asked me to do this cover for their upcoming "Best of Optimus Prime" tradepaperback, which will collect classic Prime stories from various years/incarnations.

I am amazed how many epic artists it seems are out there, but you are one of the best I've seen, period. It's amazing when someone can add his own style and feel to a series without taking anything away from the original. This feels like it could have been where Transformers first came to us all, that's how well done your pieces are. Again, very great to see someone who is doing it the right way. Keep it up.
